Last Saturday, Pit North hosted a family jiu jitsu day.
In its essence, jiu jisu is about moving your body in relation to your opponents. It’s then essential to practice and drill certain situations and positions to increase mobility while grappling.
The class started with stretching and flexibility exercises. Next, the class went through a rigorous warm up routine including human hurdles, shrimping, bag weaves, bridging. We then drilled some live situations, and finished with freestyle grappling.
The day was a fun way families can get together and workout, have fun, and maybe learn something new.
On Saturday, March 6th, Pit North will be hosting a family jiu jitsu day. The day will include a mixture of fun, challenging drills practical techniques that everyone can use, and some fun jiu Jitsu grappling. The best part of all, the cost is free!
